An incredible journey through haute-couture and religion

August in New York and I could not miss the Heavenly Bodies exhibition: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination at the Metropolitan Museum of Art (Met). A very interesting exhibition that investigates the connection between art, religion and fashion. Iconic fashion designers such as Gianni Versace, Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent, Valentino, Dolce and Gabbana, Jean Paul Gaultier, Moschino and Karl Lagerfeld have created extraordinary clothes inspired by clerical art. An incredible journey through haute-couture creations and centuries-old works of art from the sacristy of the Sistine Chapel.
Exciting. Until 8 October.
